We are very pleased to announce more awards for two of our new Louisvale wines. The sparkling MCC Rosé was awarded a Gold and the Dominique a Silver at the prestigious International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC).

Although the homestand was originally built over a hundred years ago, the first vines were only planted in 1985. With 13 hectares planted entirely with high quality Chardonnay vines, Louisvale made its name as one of the pioneers of South African Chardonnay.

When the invitation to visit Turkey’s largest wine producer arrived in my inbox in January, I paused for all of a nanosecond before bashing out the acceptance of an overexcited puppy on its first visit to the park; the opportunity to explore, if only briefly, the vineyards of a country whose existence as a wine producer had only relatively recently hit my radar, was just impossible to turn down.
