As a cold, damp, Thursday morning dawns, (that’s the forecast as I’m writing this anyway) and balmy summer days remain a far distant prospect, we are here to spread January Joy, cause your pulse to quicken, force a smile from your lips and put a song in your heart. Our January sale goes live Thursday 22nd Jan as we look to clear the decks and make room for a whole flotilla of new wines that will be arriving in 2020. Orders can be placed online, over the telephone or by calling into one of our stores where various bottles (but by no means everything!!) will be available for tasting. Do near in mind that, because we like to keep these things short and (very) sweet, whilst prices have been pared to the bone it is a strictly 4 day wonder, concluding on Sunday 26th.

There are tastings and then there are tastings and last month we served up the most phenomenal Italian Masterclass in the company of Michael Palij, Master of Wine, who steered us through some of his most recent discoveries (notably a Sardinian quartet which provided all the evidence you need of the revolution taking place in the island’s vineyards and cellars).
