Expanding Livery to hold more beer has led to an obvious situation, we need more beer! Never ones to shirk difficult questions, the team has been putting in many long hours researching new beers, and have recently been warned off any more pork scratchings for health reasons. That said, we thought we’d open it up to requests. If you have any recommendations for interesting beers or exciting breweries we should support, tell us via email, Livery St or Dovehouse Parade facebook or tweet @connollyswinejq or @connollyswinedh and we’ll do our damndest to get them in. Anyone whose recommendation makes the cut will be entered into a draw to win a selection of 6 of our personal favourite new beers as a thankyou. Get your suggestions in by 8pm on Sunday to be in with a chance of winning though, as they need to get here quickly. We’ll pick out a winner at the end of May, Best of luck!

There are tastings and then there are tastings and last month we served up the most phenomenal Italian Masterclass in the company of Michael Palij, Master of Wine, who steered us through some of his most recent discoveries (notably a Sardinian quartet which provided all the evidence you need of the revolution taking place in the island’s vineyards and cellars).
