A beautiful ruby colour. A clean nose with good intensity. Complex aromas of leather, ripe sweet fruit and herbs over a base of fine oak. Palate: Potent and juicy with structure and good tenacity. The finish shows lots of spice and is ample, complex, long and persistent.

A great Argentinian Malbec offering aromas of red fruits and plums alongside floral and subtle, toasty vanilla notes; medium bodied in the mouth, the style here is soft, juicy and very well balanced with delicious red and dark berried fruits to the fore.

A brilliant cherry-red colour, of medium intensity and purplish highlights. It has a bouquet of wild fl owers and a salty minerality, typical of the region's soils. Forceful yet velvety on the palate. Fruity with notes of blackberries, it hides a slight bitterness that balances the fruit, with a persistent and long finish.

70% Grenache Noir and 30% Carignan Noir

Lovely red colour with purple hints. This intense red wine displays an astonishing nose of small red fruits with a hint of vanilla. On the palate the wines is full-bodied and smooth, completed by elegant fine tannins. The sweetness of the Grenache brings a long finish.

Domaine de la Baume

A lively, sappy blend of Monastrell and Garnacha Tintorera that's packed full of lively black plum and blueberry fruit.

Aromas of raspberry, plum and rhubarb compote mingle with hints of tobacco leaf and earth. On the palate, cran-raspberry, boysenberry and pomegranate are underpinned by earth driven flavors of beetroot and black tea. Plush, richly textured with juicy yet balanced acidity and integrated toasty barrel spice.

Within the eastern part of the Beaujolais cru of Morgon there are two lauded hilltop vineyards - La Côte de Py and Les Charmes. Domaine de Lathevalle's Morgon comes from the latter, covering 10 hectares in one piece and enjoying a particularly interesting exposure due to its south-east facing slopes. Since 2017, Lathevalle has been owned by Patrice du Jeu of Les Héritiers Saint-Genys; his eye for spotting potentially great terroir and a philosophy based on ‘the attachment to soils, respect of the vineyard and passion for wine’, led him to this vineyard. Beaujolais seems to be enjoying a bit of a renaissance currently as wine drinkers look to slightly lighter styles but being Morgon, this is one of the more structured styles with a crunchy, grippy, raspberry and cherry fruit character.

From Nicosia's organically farmed vineyards on the slopes of Mount Etna. Delicate, complex aromas of wild strawberry and redcurrant with lightly floral notes. Fresh bitter cherry and red berry fruit on the palate with fresh acidity, earthy notes and a savoury finish.

A blend of Corvinone, Corvina, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Intense ruby red turning to garnet with ageing. Bouquet is spicy with hints of cherry, black cherry and plum compote. fine and velvety palate, persistent, with soft tannins at the end.

Medium-bodied unoaked wine with aromas of ripe berries and a hint of chocolate and soft tannins on the palate.

The Tempranillo grapes are sourced from certified organic vineyards at altitudes of around 500m. Ontañón have 57ha of low-yielding organic vineyards and 300 barrels dedicated to organic wines. There is a long maceration of the grapes (over 20 days) - fermentation at controlled temperatures. Ecológico spends five months in American and French oak barrels (new and 1-2 year old barrels).

A Bordeaux inspired blend, ripe blackberry fruit, damson and warming spice with subtle flavours of pencil lead, dark chocolate, cardamom and black pepper.

The final blend is 20% of each grape variety taken from 3 different vintages, it is then aged in French oak for 12 months

Porvenir de Cafayate is one of Salta's premium, high altitude wine producers. This small, family-owned winery in Cafayate, specialises in Torrontes, Malbec, Tannat and red blends from 45-50 year old vineyards which are amongst the highest in the world at 1900m asl and surrounded by 20ft, 200+ year old monster cacti. Colour in the reds here is profound due to the exposure to prolonged mountain sunlight, with soft tannins thanks in part to the extreme diurnal temperature differences... some mornings the cacti are thick with frost but within a few hours temperatures soar to the mid/high 20s! This is a light, juicy style of Garnacha, part carbonic maceration and taken off its skins towards the end of fermentation to preserve its freshness.

Vinification. Following a 4 day cold soak with wine is macerated for 25 days. Fermentation is at warm temperatures with daily remontage. The wine is aged for 12 months in both French and American oak barriques

Cherries, wild berries and a note of cinnamon smoke all appear on the alluring and inviting nose of this Pinot Noir. The palate is elegant and has just a touch of weight, fine smoky tannins, dark cherries covered in chocolate and vanilla ice cream can all be found in this superbly crafted wine

Iona winery uses organic practices in the cultivation of their wines. Minimal intervention whilst the grapes are growing with hand harvesting to select only the best grapes for the wines.

Succulent black cherry aroma, bright but delicate and hints of forest floor, with underlying floral and spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is powerful, with silk-textured length.

Iona

Earthy and baked red plums on the nose. An almost Burgundian savoury quality on the palate with characteful gamey and fruit richness. Balanced with a bright acidity on the finish.

Les Vignots is one of the most famous vineyard in the appelation, located on the north at the very top of the hillside of Pommard ( 330m altitude)

A Pinot Noir from the southern Loire region of the Auvergne. Fresh and aromatic with sappy green notes, hints of herbs and ripe cherry fruit on the nose. The palate is elegant and textured with smooth, sappy red cherry fruit. Beautifully expressive and elegant. A pure, lighter-style red wine with no harsh edges.

Desprat & Saint-Verny

Dating back to 1714, Quinta dos Murças is located in the Cima-Corgo sub-region of the Douro Valley. As of 2021, all Quinta dos Murças wines will be certified organic.

Complex, fresh and elegant aroma of dark berry fruits, with balsamic notes and integrated spicy notes from oak barrel ageing. Firm and concentrated palate with balancing and present acidity, well-integrated mature tannins. Long and persistent finish, balanced and elegant, with fruit notes.

Fabrizio Vella is a passionate winemaker living and working in Sicily.

Proud of the island that he calls home he wanted to create a wine range that was personal to him, that reflected where he was from. Working with indigenous varieties of Cattaratto and Nero d’Avola he conjured four wines using an organic approach and careful winemaking to create wines that are fresh, exciting, moreish and true to their origin. A Sicilian wine through and through.

A natural wine with a complex nose, which is spicy and packed full of punchy liqouirice, chocolate, and dark fruits. Crisp, pleasant and persistent in the mouth.

This wine is made from Georgias's indigenous grape variety – Saperavi, which is hand harvested from the Kakheti Region (East Georgia). Wine undergoes 7-10 days of fermentation on skins. Once fermentation is complete, skins are removed from the wine.

Saperavi is often compared to Malbec, Cabernet Franc and even Gamay depending on how it is made. In this case we are firmly in Malbec territory – deep, bright and juicy with dark berry flavours.

Teliani Valley Winery

SARDÓN is outstanding for intense fruitiness from the very outset, revealing notes of red berries, blueberries, red cherry, very fresh fruit and hints of thyme imbuing it with a markedly youthful character. On the palate, the fine balance among the red berries, acidity and smooth, mature tannins is outstanding. The time in the barrel has smoothed yet has not marked this wine, so we can enjoy a long, silky drink.

Quinta Sardonia

Not posh or sophisticated but very appealing - warm earth and herbs with a meatiness right in the middle!

Vibrant and youthful colour with cherry jam and red berry fruit characters. The palate is warm and generous, packed full of polished berry fruit, a touch of spice and a bitter plum twist on the finish. Tannins are gentle and add structure to this substantial, spicy red.

Monte Schiavo

Vines grown on limestone and clay soils, vinified and aged in concrete.

Deep, earthy, incredibly tight in its youth this will certainly benefit from a few hours in a decanter. Upon opening up the herbaceous, spicy notes and elegant shapes come to the fore.

The name of this unusual Bourgogne Pinot Noir refers to the latitude of Burgundy, and it is a blend of out best Bourgogne Rouge, Cote de Nuits Village, Marsannay and Vosne-Romanee.
